What is the policy regarding tips/gratuities?

• How much you choose to tip is a personal matter and completely at your discretion. For your convenience, a suggested gratuity in recognition of outstanding personal service of $11.50 per Guest, per day, will automatically be added to your shipboard account. Gratuities are combined in a pool due to the fact that the ship offers multiple open-seating venues and you will likely be served by many different staff members during the course of your stay onboard. An 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage purchases. Naturally, you may increase or decrease gratuities at your sole discretion.

• Guests occupying a Penthouse, Vista or Owners Suite will have an additional $3.50 gratuity per Guest, per day added in recognition of outstanding Butler Service.

What is the smoking policy of Oceania Cruises?

• For the comfort and safety of our guests smoking is permitted only in designated areas. These will be a small section of the Horizons Bar and a small section on the Pool Deck. Smoking is not permitted in the staterooms, public room, verandas or in any of the dining areas. Cigar and pipe smoking will not be allowed anywhere indoors.

Do you offer childrens programs / services onboard?

• There are no organized children's programs or services on the Regatta or Insignia.

May I purchase Business Class air to my destination?

• Business Class air is offered from most Oceania Cruises U.S. and Canadian gateways.

What should I pack?

• Recommended onboard clothing is resort or country club casual. For evening dining, elegant casual resort wear is suggested. We request that jeans, shorts, t-shirts or tennis shoes not be worn at dinner.

Are there transfers available from the airport to the ship and vice versa?

• Transfers arrangements may be made through Oceania Cruises at an additional cost.

Is there somewhere onboard where I can exchange currency?

• Currency can be exchanged at Reception and we will invite local banks on board in some ports of call. Fee for exchange is 5%.

Can I make and receive telephone calls / send and receive email?

• The ship will be equipped with C-Band satellite telephone services which can be direct dialed from the stateroom and billed directly to the guests folio. Rates will be approximately $9.50 per minute for voice. E-mail will be available through our Internet Cafi with assistance available.

Does Oceania Cruises offer pre and post cruise hotel packages?

• Where appropriate, Oceania Cruises does offer pre or post packages at the best possible, deluxe hotels. Information on the hotel packages available for the selected itinerary will be provided at time of booking and/or with deposit confirmation.

Are shore excursions available for pre-cruise purchase?

• Both individual shore excursions and our pre-set Discovery or Explorer Collection tour packages can be pre-purchased online through our Already Booked section. Discovery and Explorer Collection tour packages can also be pre-purchased through your travel agent. While individual shore excursions can be purchased on our ships as well, tour packages will not be available for purchase on board.

• For the comfort of our long distance travelers, Oceania Cruises will also offer where appropriate, optional overnight hotel packages in our embarkation and disembarkation cities.
